World famous in The Hague for more than 10 years: the Acoustic Maniacs! This fabulous folk-rock band will be playing at Eetcafé Foots, in the Reinkenstraat 8 on King’s Day, Wednesday 27th April, 2016. Starts at 15.00.
Folk-rock harmony music
The Acoustic Maniacs were formed some 10 years ago. Since then they have performed every year in cafés, pubs and beach clubs for (company) parties and receptions and this year for the first time they’ve also played at festivals. You could describe the band’s style as semi-acoustic folk-rock music. The band is known for its great harmonies combined with lovely guitar sounds and guitar solos.
From Queen to Armin van Buuren
Their attraction is first and foremost the way they switch from modern numbers to the old classics, all played in just the right way. From full acoustic to half electric, from beautiful ballads to heavy sing-alongs. From the Eagles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and U2 to Avicii, Mumford & Sons and Armin van Buuren.
Their audience’s reaction speaks for itself: there’s always a standing ovation!
